About Us

Nadine Hooper Wardenga is a native of Georgia and was raised with traditional Southern values

She and her husband Tom make their home in Cleveland, Ga. They have two sons Glenn and John.

Simple ideas for enjoyable entertaining became the rule of thumb as friends and family gathered into their home for pleasant meals and fellowship. Her mother taught her to treat guest like royalty. Good manners and good food are always a good combination. Social occasions were the beginning of Nadine’s Chicken Salad.

Special guest are always welcome in the Wardenga home. Invites are given freely so, when the local owner of IGA, Dean Justice was invited for lunch he sampled Nadine’s Chicken Salad for the first time. Before leaving that day he asked her to make it for the store and the rest is history.

That was several years ago and now Nadine’s Chicken Salad is a local favorite. It’s following continues to grow with each new customer.

In 2007, the Wardenga’s started Wardenga Enterprises, Inc.
